Been there done that, once is enough, never again: Looking back, it didnt seem quite possible for me to complete all that shit, espcially the last exercise. So shag that some of us, including me, almost 'see god' haha. Nonetheless, its quite an experience there, an unforgettable one which will be a good talking point with my friends next time. But once is enough, unlike some weirdo sgt we have there who loves brunei....wtf??
Swampwalk was crazy la, bashing and moving only 100m in one hour, not to mention we moved continously with load for 3 hr, just cuz theres simply no room to packs down! GPS reading changed only by the last digit in one hour! And did i mention the soft muddy swamp which will swallow your legs to thigh high, and damn hard to come out of it.
Birthday was spent in a rainy thunderstorm forested area. Drenched yet not demoralised cuz wishes came from my friends there, my instructors(received this choc waffle snack and chicken chop...really good!) and greetings from singapore! Thanx!
At times, i really missed home and asked myself what the hell am i doing here or this, and its not just me... touch down day everyone cheered in the plane =) To all, do treasure the roads, the flat land, good food and water water water!!!!!!!

Slowly but surely, friends around me are starting to change. Good or bad its up to them, lets just say it isnt my style of living, and i cant really judge them. To a certain extent, im disappointed, but i think i need to accept it. i wont distant myself from them but if because of their change which pulls us apart then its too bad. i cant be so compromising all the time. That said, cheers to our time for the rest of the year and hope i see things change for the better! =)

Alpha coy's morale hit rock bottom when news of a search/recce party is needed to retrieve something back at our training area one week ago. If we find it, good! Book out! If we don't, we have the weekends, the off in lieus before brunei, the offs after brunei.... Hearing this, most of us got hit real hard inside. many many weekends burnt. Kinda like a armour ignoring spell being cast, maybe illusion of weakness and conjure phantasm...if u play guild wars.. Ouch.
BUT... the i knew the gods were kind and took justice. Its not the culprit's intent to cheat the company (i personally know him too) and it aint our fault too, so we took just 5 minutes, yes, 5 minutes in reaching our destination to find that wretched thing! So happy were we that some of us thought it was a joke, and some jumped with joy. We thought it was near impossible to find! Yay and so i am able to type this shit...phew. else i would still be in the jungle "lookinf for something you can't find" hahaha....

Oh yea just came back from a full week in camp and went through a crazy outfield trip. My morale probably hit the lowest when the oc turned around at the 2nd bend. At that moment, i just cant seemed to walk liao, dun need to even think of singing. Now I recall that moment, it sends chills down me, dun wanna feel it again man haha. maybe its cuz the way i carried the field pack la. Shaggest moment was the casualty drill. Fuck heavy and shag la. Really no joke carrying the guy, with alice pack, and a law walking about 1k plus. On top of that, little sleep before that, burning weather and zero water supplies on me and others. Worse when our primary pickup site got contacted den change place. Really dying la haha. Fast march i also cui after the thing.

During those times when I felt hot, thirsty and dying, i tot of ice cold chng teng, longan red tea, ice cold ribena. YY tot of czhi cha when hes hungry la. Whoa...I swear im gonna drink and eat alot when i book out.
After they gave instructions to change to pt kit, we heong for a shower. Oh man, its probably the best, coolest most comfortable shower thus far. Finally can get rid of my heat rash and the disgusting thought of wearing the same uniform over and over again haha. See? Army allows alot of us to treasure things that appear normal last time.
The next phase is all out loh. Damn scared and definitely NOT looking forward to it haha.

Click: Initially, I expected it to be some brainless comedy with overused or cliched jokes. And the only I watched it was for the beautiful kate beckinsale. But I was in for a good suprise. Not only was the movie genuingly funny, giving me a good laugh, the later part of the movie was a good food for thought. At some parts, the scenes were quite touching and it ached me as i pitied adam sandler's character. Life can't be fast forwarded nor rewind, it still runs on the same 24hr basis. Treasure those around you- family, friends, spouses, children. Face problems, avoid hiding under the carpet and act blur. Good show!

Durian Craze: Now its the durian season. So when we had our navex at marsiling. The king of fruits were everywhere, but mostly rotten or obilerated. Once when we decided to rest and relax, our group hunted durians. Ohh man, though it was just two seeds, it was enjoyable! Real good taste. But we got caught... =p
